01 — Day

Soaks up
daylight.

Ordinary daylight is enough, no direct sun needed. Under a pergola, in the shade of a tree, behind a window.

02 — Dusk

Wakes up
by itself.

No switch, no sensor, no cable. As soon as the light fades, the line gives back what it stored during the day.

03 — Night

Guides your step.
Never glares.

A soft guiding line, readable mainly up close. It shows the edge of a step, the rim of a pool, the way to the house.

Solid oak, sanded, planed and cut to size. Edges chamfered, knots and cracks sanded by hand. And in the edge, a line that needs nothing but daylight.

FAQ

Clear,
even in the dark.

Does the line need electricity or batteries?+

No. It charges with daylight only. No cable, no power, no battery — and so no running costs.

Does it need direct sunlight?+

No. The line works without direct sunlight, ordinary daylight is enough.

Does it glare at night?+

No. It glows softly and is seen mainly up close. It shows the edge and the direction, without shining into your eyes or the neighbours' windows.

Does it work indoors?+

Yes, as long as daylight reaches the space during the day. In a permanently dark room the line will not charge.

Can it be added to existing steps or a pool?+

Yes. We retrofit existing steps, terraces and pools after a consultation — into wood, WPC, concrete, stone, paving, plastic and metal.

Can you make other sizes?+

Yes. Custom sizes and joinery for indoors and outdoors are handled individually — fastest with a short call to the workshop.
